Media I.M. has licensed the second installment of the animated preschool series Sunny Bunnies to Disney Channel in the U.S., among other sales for the non-dialogue comedy.

In addition, the sophomore season of Sunny Bunnies is headed to the Sky Kids app in the U.K. and Ireland, while MTG’s Viaplay acquired the first two installments for streaming in Scandinavia. Seasons one and two have also been snapped up by MBC Group for broadcast on MBC3 in the MENA region next year.

Media I.M. extended the rights for the freshman season of Sunny Bunnies with Brazil’s PlayKids app to include Latin America, North America and Europe. In Estonia, ETV inked a non-exclusive deal to debut the series on ETV2 in September.

Maria Ufland, co-founder of Media I.M., commented: “Sunny Bunnies has had an amazing journey since 2016, when we first launched it internationally. Disney’s belief and support for the series has been unwavering and is a huge endorsement to the brand. We are extremely excited that the show will soon be available to even broader kids’ audiences in the Middle East, Brazil and Estonia, which is a huge credit to the international appeal of this show and proves that it is developing to become a truly global brand.”

Sunny Bunnies follows the adventures of five beaming, ball-shaped creatures. It is produced by Digital Light Studio in Belarus.
