Another Season of Clangers for CBeebies

LONDON: Coolabi Group has revealed that a second season of the hit animated preschool series Clangers is in production for broadcast on CBeebies in the U.K. later this year.

Season two of Clangers will continue the adventures of a family of alien critters, Major, Mother, Small, Tiny and Granny Clanger, and their friends. The 26×11-minute episodes will once again be narrated by Michael Palin. The BAFTA-winning reboot first began airing on CBeebies in June 2015.

Clangers is co-produced by CBeebies, Coolabi Group and Smallfilms with BBC Worldwide for its international channels. BBC Worldwide is also the show’s international distributor.

Jeremy Banks, the CEO of Coolabi Group, commented: “We’re delighted to have a new [season] of Clangers in production and we’re excited to be working once more with the incredibly talented team that brought to life the magic and kind nature of the show.”
