Adventure Time Interactive Game Rolls Out in the U.K.

LONDON: Cartoon Network U.K. has launched Adventure Time’s first-ever live interactive gaming experience.

The Ooo Experience will travel across U.K. shopping centers from June 11 to July 10, offering fans a chance to jump into the show’s Land of Ooo and play alongside their favorite characters. Hellicar&Lewis developed the game, which uses motion sensors and giant LED screens to allow interactive gameplay.

Richard Kinning, the U.K. creative director at Turner, said: “We’re thrilled to be collaborating with Hellicar&Lewis to launch Adventure Time’s first-ever live interactive experience. This game was inspired by our massive fan base for the show; we wanted to offer them a unique Adventure Time experience like never before. An Ooo Experience offers players a mix of theater, character interaction and the opportunity to explore and immerse themselves in the Land of Ooo. We hope it attracts both existing fans and also new ones who just fall in love with the characters like we have.”
