LONDON: Zig Zag Productions has licensed the health and lifestyle format Change the Day You Die to Z Living in the U.S.

Change the Day You Die looks at the unhealthy lifestyles of ordinary people and estimates how many years their bad habits are shaving off their lives. The 7×60-minute show was originally produced by Zig Zag for Sky One in the U.K. It is slated to begin airing on Z Living next month. Zig Zag is also in negotiations to develop the format for the U.S. market.

Danny Fenton, the CEO of Zig Zag Productions, said: “Change the Day You Die has always been a strong TV proposition and we’re naturally very happy to see new developments that will reinvigorate the property in the U.S. and around the world. Health and lifestyle issues are at the forefront of viewers’ minds so the series we produced for Sky One and the format are perhaps even more topical than when we originally produced the first series for Sky One.”
