Vivendi Sends Couple or Not? to New Markets in Asia, Europe

Local treatments have been set for Vivendi Entertainment’s new format Couple or Not? in countries across Europe and Asia.

The news follows the format’s launch in France on C8. In Thailand, Zense started production for the first season of the show, which will air on Channel 3 in July. In Hungary, TV2 is producing 25 episodes that will air daily in early prime time in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, in Russia, Mastiff will produce a 25-episode first season for UTV that will air daily in the spring.

Additionally, in Italy, Magnolia is exclusively developing a local adaptation of Couple or Not? Xanela Producciones in Spain has an exclusive option to develop and produce a local adaptation of the format.

Matthieu Porte, Vivendi Entertainment’s executive VP of international and development, said, “After making Guess My Age one of the most adapted formats of 2017, we have decided to play with another universal theme: guessing who is in a relationship! The successful French start and these first adaptations make us believe we were right and we are now willing to partner with as many networks, producers and brands as possible in the coming months.”
