LONDON: BBC Worldwide has scored two new deals for the Tuesday’s Child format You’re Back in the Room, which will now be adapted for Canada and Slovakia.

The family game show watches as contestants try to perform simple tasks while under hypnosis. The series ranked in the U.K.’s top ten highest-rated entertainment shows of 2015 when it launched on ITV, and the format has been licensed into seven countries, including the U.S. The newest deals secured by BBC Worldwide are with Canadian partner Quebecor Content and Markiza TV in Slovakia.

Sumi Connock, the creative director of formats at BBC Worldwide, said: “I’m delighted that this brilliantly unique format continues to entertain audiences around the world with its creative spin on the game-show genre.”

Karen Smith, the managing director of Tuesday’s Child, said: “I’m thrilled two more territories have licensed the show, they’ll have such fun producing it. It’s unique and genuinely funny.”
