The Bachelor Set for Local Treatment in Canada

TORONTO: Corus Entertainment’s W Network has given the go-ahead to The Bachelor Canada on the heels of the successful first season of The Bachelorette Canada.

The Canadian version of the hit reality series will see a single man search for love among 20 women vying for his affection. Production is scheduled to begin in the spring for broadcast in fall 2017. Casting will kick off tomorrow, with details available on the W Network website.

The Bachelor Canada is being produced by Good Human Productions. The show is based on the U.S. format created by Mike Fleiss and produced by Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television. Format sales are being handled by Warner Bros. International Television Production.
