Talpa Places Dance Dance Dance in Thailand

Talpa has licensed the celebrity dance competition format Dance Dance Dance to TV Thunder in Thailand.

Dance Dance Dance looks on as famous contestants renact iconic dance performances with the help of such technology as augmented reality and video mapping. The eight-part Thai version will be produced by TV Thunder for a premiere on the online service Line TV.

Pirath Yensudjai, the executive VP at TV Thunder, remarked: “We believe that having the right content for the right audience at the right time will create an incredible experience for all stakeholders. Dance Dance Dance fits these criteria perfectly in a sense that it is a TV show that offers a multiscreen experience and augmented reality, which are elements that fit well with Line TV viewers. The quality of the contestants along with the investments we will put into this show will certainly create a buzz within the industry.”
