Reshet Renews The Best of All

TEL AVIV: Reshet has commissioned a second season of the game show The Best of All, a format distributed by Dori Media Group.

Season one of the Abot Hameiri Productions game show increased the time slot average for the Israeli broadcaster by 65.4 percent in the 18 to 24 group and by 147 percent in the 12 to 17 demo. The second season will be produced in the second half of next year as part of a hub production with other European territories.

The Best of All game show tests the theory that a crowd of people will answer a question correctly more often than an individual, and even an expert,” said Nadav Palti, the CEO and president of Dori Media Group. “This show pits hundreds of people against individuals answering visual questions for money. Friday night prime-time slot viewing has significantly decreased in recent years across all age groups but primarily amongst the younger audience. Reshet’s decision to schedule The Best of All in this slot was based on the broadcaster’s belief in the strength of the format that it could re-establish the slot’s popularity with its target audience. The results we have seen from the first season show that this belief was well founded. We look forward to continuing our successful partnership with Reshet and Abot Hameiri Productions through 2017.”
