Propagate Aligns with Antenna Group


Propagate and Antenna Group have established a partnership aimed at original formats and finished content.

“Antenna Group is the leading broadcaster in southern Europe, and we both believe there is a tremendous opportunity for us to develop original content together that we can distribute worldwide,” said Cyrus Farrokh, the president of international at Propagate.

“Under the leadership of Ben Silverman and Howard T. Owens, Propagate is fast becoming a leading global content creator and distributor,” said Jonathan Procter, managing director of Antenna Group. “We are pleased to enter into this partnership with Propagate to bring Antenna Group’s content and formats to the international market. We are especially excited about the opportunity to develop and nurture new ideas from our local talent that will be showcased to a worldwide audience.”

The two will work together to develop, produce and distribute conent. The pact kicks off with two series in development for a 2019 broadcast: Slip ‘N Slide and My Best Friend’s Fear. The Propagate game-show format Slip ‘N Slide from WHAMO-O is being adapted for Ant1 TV. Propagate and Ant1 TV will co-produce the series, in which players attempt to perform seemingly simple tasks. My Best Friend’s Fear, a hidden-camera prank show, will be co-produced with Makedonia TV in Greece.

Propagate recently sealed a similar alliance with Daniela Busoli’s Brazil-based production and distribution company, Formata Produções.
