Next Top Model Gets Local Version in Mongolia

​​LOS ANGELES/ULAANBAATAR: CBS Studios International has licensed the America’s Next Top Model format for its first-ever version in Mongolia.

EduTV will get a Mongolian adaptation that features contestants battling it out over 16 episodes for the title of Top Model. The original America’s Next Top Model show is under license in more than 100 markets. There are 20 local versions of the format, including in Vietnam, Poland and Germany.

“EduTV is honored to host Mongolia’s Next Top Model, a format that has been incredibly successful around the world,” said Khankhuu Galbaatar, executive producer at EduTV. “The show is already creating a buzz among Mongolian models and modeling agencies, along with local audiences. As it’s the first time the series has been licensed in Mongolia, our team is putting in a great effort to make this franchise a success.”
