More Wheeler Dealers for France’s RMC Découverte


PARIS: The French DTT channel RMC Découverte has ordered a second season of the local Wheeler Dealers series.

Pernel Media will produce a 12×1-hour second season of the hit Discovery show for the French market. Season one, presented by Gerry Blyenberg and Aurélien Letheux, drew 2.5 million viewers on RMC Découverte.

Samuel Kissous, the president of Pernel Media, said: “Wheeler Dealers is a very sophisticated format to produce, it involves running a big operation, including a real-life garage. We’re proud of the production value we delivered on the French version of this famous show and naturally we’re extremely happy that it’s been a hit with French viewers. To return for a second season with even more episodes is really exciting.”
