LONDON: A+E Networks UK has commissioned another season of Britain’s Next Top Model for Lifetime in the U.K.

The new ten-part season will once again be produced by Thumbs Up Productions, which licenses the format from CBS Studios International. Model, presenter and former Britain’s Next Top Model contestant Abbey Clancy, and Britain’s first male supermodel, Paul Sculfor, return as head judges. They will again be joined by fashion director and style guru Hilary Alexander OBE and celebrity photographer Nicky Johnston.

The 11th cycle of the global fashion franchise went into preproduction this summer. Filming is taking place in the U.K. and abroad.

Koulla Anastasi, the director of programming for Lifetime at A+E Networks UK, said: “Lifetime has proved to be the perfect home for Britain’s Next Top Model (BNTM) after our debut [season] achieved record ratings. The show’s winning blend of fashion, glamour and entertainment made it unmissable viewing for our audience. Alongside top rating acquisitions such as Project Runway, BNTM has established Lifetime as the go-to destination for fashion reality.”

Clancy commented: “I’m really excited about the new [season] of Britain’s Next Top Model. The auditions are already underway, but unlike last [season], viewers will watch as we pick the final girls in episode one. There’s going to be more drama and excitement as Paul, Hilary, Nicky and I help realize the dreams of the U.K.’s most beautiful girls, whilst having a lot of fun along the way!”

Marty Redman, executive producer at Thumbs Up Productions, said: “Britain’s Next Top Model has proved to not only have a huge and loyal fan base but also the ability to attract new audiences who are equally passionate about the show. We can’t wait to work with our four judges to find the U.K.’s next modeling superstar!”

In addition to Redman, the executive producers are Cheryl Price for Thumbs Up Productions and Diana Carter for Lifetime/A+E Networks UK.
