ISTANBUL: Global Agency’s hit cooking format Blind Taste has secured additional sales with broadcasters in Greece and Sweden.

Greece’s Star TV ordered another 55 episodes of Blind Taste, which began airing on the channel in October 2015. In Sweden, MTG’s TV3 licensed 28 more episodes for the second season.

Blind Taste looks on as a celebrity chef teaches four contestants how to cook a new recipe. The contestants then rate the prepared meals while blindfolded so they don’t know whose food they’re tasting. The format also airs on K1 in the Ukraine, Friday TV in Russia and Kanalturk in Turkey.

Izzet Pinto, the CEO of Global Agency, said: “Blind Taste has always been one of the top selling brands. Its unique approach in grading the dishes blindfolded makes the show fun and exciting. We are hoping to close deals in at least in seven to eight countries during 2016.”
