Media Ranch has licensed the Dutch reality show Paleis voor een Prikkie (Palace for a Penny) to SBS Belgium and secured a number of format options on titles it will be showcasing at MIPCOM.

Paleis voor een Prikkie features home renovation duo Frank and Roger. Two seasons of the Vincent TV production have aired on SBS 6 in the Netherlands, with a third due in 2019.

Also from Vincent TV is the Verdict on Demand format, which has been optioned by Monsieur Jean Television (Group Story+) in France. The format, which originated on SBS6, was previously acquired by Imago TV for a German version.

The Dutch comedy panel show Who Am I? (Wie Ben Ik?) has been optioned for South Africa by The TVSmiths. Endemol Shine Germany also recently optioned the title. The TVSmiths also optioned the reality format Pay It Forward (Donnez au Suivant). Media Ranch also secured a deal with Flair Productions in France on the Israeli format Face It.

“It is really pleasing that there is already a lot of interest around our finished programmes and formats ahead of MIPCOM 2018,” said Sophie Ferron, the president of Media Ranch, which is marking its tenth anniversary this year. “We are delighted that we have already secured these deals before heading to Cannes.”
