ITV Orders Big Star’s Little Star Spin-Off

ITV has commissioned Big Star’s Bigger Star, a spin-off from the hit 12 Yard format Big Star’s Little Star.

The four-part series will head into production this summer and feature stars and their parents. In a series of comedic rounds, the celebrity’s parents are asked about their famous offspring before stardom hit, revealing the embarrassing stories from their younger years. In addition, Big Star’s Little Star has been recommissioned for a fifth season, also to be produced this summer. Both shows will be hosted by Stephen Mulhern.

Andy Culpin, the managing director of 12 Yard, said: “We’re over the moon that ITV has not only committed to another series of Big Star’s but also commissioned our spin-off featuring celebrities with their parents. Expect more revealing, embarrassing and hilarious insights into life behind the closed doors of your favorite famous faces.”
