Hollywood Game Night has been commissioned for a local version in Sweden, where the show will air on pubcaster SVT.

Produced in-house by SVT Göteborg, the 10×1-hour local version is entitled Alla för en (All for One). It will air on SVT1 in September and be made available on the broadcaster’s SVOD platform, SVT Play. Katrin Sundberg (Häxan Surtant, Superhjältejul) is lined up to host the series. She will be supported by musician and actor Björn A Ling (Smala Sussie, Bröllopsfotografen, Mammas pojkar).

Sweden marks the 19th territory for the format, which is licensed by NBCUniversal International Formats.

Christina Hill, head of entertainment at SVT in Göteborg, said: “We have followed Hollywood Game Night and the host Jane Lynch for a long time, especially since it is such a success in the USA. It is impossible not to be caught up in the combination of smart and entertaining games, and we are hopeful that this show will be liked by the whole family, especially since it is based on current pop culture.”

Ana Langenberg, senior VP of format sales and production at NBCUniversal International Formats, added: “Hollywood Game Night is one of our most successful formats, which continues to resonate with audiences all over the world. The premise of the show is so universal and it promises fun and entertaining, primetime viewing. Who doesn’t love a game night? Especially with your favorite celebrities?”
