Global Screen Places Scripted Formats in the U.S.

Global Screen has licensed a number of its scripted formats in the U.S., including Buried Truth, which tells the story of a family tragedy.

Intrigue Entertainment snapped up the rights for Buried Truth, which comes from Swiss C-Films. The series has aired on SRF in Switzerland.

Atomic Monster’s James Wan went for Zenith, produced by Lemming Film. The show, which was a hit in Holland, features the premise of cloned parents.

Producer Michael Wenning has taken the remake rights for the Belgian series E-Legal, which explores the obscure world of cyber crime in today’s society.

Barbara Vallant, who handles formats sales and acquisitions at Global Screen, commented: “The Golden Age of Television is still in its apogee. We have concluded various deals with our valued American partners. We look forward to presenting more gems at this coming MIPTV.”
