Global Agency is gearing up for MIPCOM, where it will launch the new singing competition format Music Masters.

In each episode, eight talented contestants have the opportunity to sing and have their performance voted on by the studio audience, but the score is not revealed immediately. At the end of the singer’s first performance, the contestant must decide whether to sing a second song, as it is the score of the final performance that counts. The two contestants with the most points are revealed at the end of the episode, and they battle each other in a duet for a weekly cash prize. As the weeks progress, the competition becomes more challenging. The competition runs over 13 weeks.

Izzet Pinto, the CEO of Global Agency and the creator of the format, said, “We’re proud to be bringing to MIPCOM 2017 another fantastically strong lineup of formats, including Music Masters. It is not just another singing format. Music Masters is a competition where contestants push to the max and beat their own limits. I am excited to be launching the format during MIPCOM and I can’t wait to witness the potential of the format as being the next sensation.”
