The winners of Armoza Formats’ annual formats pitch competition Formagination 7 have been revealed, with screenwriter Shiri Zuck’s dating show Museum of Me winning first place.

Zuck will receive a development and distribution contract with Armoza Formats and up to $25,000 to produce Museum of Me. The runner-up prize of a scholarship to the prestigious international Entertainment Master Class seminar went to Shaul Betser and Hila Bashan, who pitched Chill, a coaching show. Daniella Doron, meanwhile, won the people’s vote with the studio-entertainment format Freeze.

The panel of judges included Fabrizio Battocchio, head of formats at Mediaset Italy; Bence Trunkó, creative director at Paprika Latino Hungary; Lisa Shiloach Uzrad, head of television at Israel’s Public Broadcaster Corporation; Mira Geshel, content manager at Israel Export Institute; and Avi Armoza, CEO and founder of Armoza Formats. Formagination 7, which was hosted by Israeli journalist Udi Segal, was held during the TLV Formats Conference and organized by Armoza Formats and Israel Export Institute.

Armoza said: “Formagination is an amazing platform for creativity and we are thrilled to see how every year it keeps breaking records with its number of submissions. We recently developed Sex Tape, a format that was born in last year’s competition, launched at MIPTV and currently has a substantial number of deals, and now we are already looking forward to working with this edition’s winner.”
