Lagardère Studios in France and Maagalot Productions in Israel have snapped up local rights for Armoza Formats’ OVO.

OVO was launched in collaboration with Spanish communications group MEDIAPRO, which produced the show with Phileas Production. The factual format invites passersby in ten different cities across a particular country to stop inside egg-shaped “confession booths” to share their most intimate feelings and stories. The format has also been picked up for Germany.

Ronnie Manor, the CEO of Maagalot Productions, said, “We are happy to be working with Armoza and the creators of OVO on this format, which tells stories in a new, real, innovative and emotional way. We are confident in its future success and that we will find the right home for OVO in Israel.”

Avi Armoza, the CEO of Armoza Formats, stated, “This format is incredibly relevant to audiences everywhere in today’s world—with our lives having more distractions and being busier than ever, OVO provides the space for us to be heard. We’re thrilled to take this show to France and Israel and to be partnering with Lagardère and Maagalot to make it a success.”
