ABC Adds FremantleMedia Game Shows to Winter Schedule

BURBANK: On the heels of their summer success, Match Game and To Tell the Truth, from FremantleMedia North America, will be back on the ABC schedule this January.

“Our game shows are being embraced by fans and celebrated for bringing people together to participate in the fun,” said Rob Mills, senior VP of alternative series, specials and late-night programming at ABC Entertainment. “We’re looking forward to having new shows available to continue the laughs and extend the celebration beyond the holidays.”

Match Game, fronted by Alec Baldwin, returns for its second season on January 4. The show averaged 6 million viewers over the summer. Anthony Anderson is back for the second outing of To Tell the Truth on January 1. It averaged 5.2 million viewers over the summer.
