BT Group has begun the search for a new chief executive following the decision of Philip Jansen to step down in the next 12 months.

BT Group has tapped Adam Crozier to succeed Jan du Plessis as chairman.

After seven years as chief executive of ITV, Adam Crozier is exiting the role at the end of June, with Ian Griffiths, COO and group finance director, to lead the executive team for an interim period.

LONDON: Boosted in part by its content production and distribution business, ITV reported a 9-percent gain in profit before tax to £425 million ($558 million) for the first six months of the year.

LONDON: Total external revenues rose by 15 percent to £3 billion ($4.2 billion) at ITV in 2015, with ITV Studios's revenues up by 33 percent to £1.2 billion ($1.7 billion).
