SPI International has landed a carriage deal with Alchimie for the channels FightBox, DocuBox, FilmBox Art House and FashionBox across two new territories: Belgium and Spain.

The channels will launch in Belgium in October and follow with a debut in Spain in December. The agreement allows the linear channels to be accessed on the OTT platform Watch It, which is accessible on devices such as mobile, tablets, computers and smart TV sets.

Frederic Rossignol, Alchimie’s chief content officer, said: “Our subscribers in France, Germany and Australia have thoroughly enjoyed watching SPI’s channels and content on Watch It, and we’re delighted to extend our agreement both in terms of channels and territories, and we are sure our existing audiences and our new audiences in Spain and Belgium will respond equally enthusiastically.”

“We are delighted to be extending our existing partnership with Alchimie in order to bring our content to millions of digital viewers to enjoy,” added Georgina Twiss, managing director for Southern and Western Europe and Africa at SPI International. “[We are] looking forward to continuing to work closely together in the future.”
