New COO for Channel 4


Keith Underwood has been named chief operating officer of Channel 4, elevated from the post of director of strategy and technology.

Underwood will be a key strategic advisor to CEO Alex Mahon and will lead the finance, technology, content management, workspace and business assurance teams. Underwood took up the role in March and the confirmation of his appointment follows the conclusion of a full recruitment process.

Prior to joining Channel 4, Underwood was VP of strategy and digital media for Discovery Networks International and previously worked in strategy roles at Sky and as a consultant at PwC.
