Video Interview with Rai Com’s David Bogi

David Bogi, Rai Com’s head of international distribution and business development, tells World Screen‘s Kristin Brzoznowski about the strong interest in long-form series and “typical Italian content,” as well as the company’s wish list for third-party acquisitions, which includes detective dramas and docs.

Rai Com, the commercial branch of Italian public broadcaster RAI, represents a library of more than 2,200 productions. The genres range from movies to scripted series such as Detective Montalbano, Captain Maria and Escape from Mafia.

Bogi notes that the company has recently become more active in the documentary space, and it is also expanding its co-productions with other public broadcasters. Rai Com is involved in the channel-distribution business as well.
