Controller Sessions have been revealed for the Edinburgh Television Festival, with leading presenters discussing channel strategy, commissioning needs and brand identities.

Fiona Phillips, a journalist, broadcaster and TV host, will interview BBC One’s Charlotte Moore; Edith Bowman, a television, radio and podcast presenter, will talk to BBC Two and BBC Four’s Patrick Holland and Cassian Harrison; Sarah-Jane Mee, a news broadcaster, is speaking with ITV’s Kevin Lygo; and Sue Perkins, writer, presenter and broadcaster, will interview UKTV’s Richard Watsham, Hilary Rosen and Steve North.

Phil Edgar-Jones, advisory chair, remarked: “After another stand-out year in broadcasting, this year’s Controller Sessions will not only deliver great presenter names who promise to ask those burning questions, but they will also give delegates an inside look into the team, wish lists and future plans of all the major broadcasters.”
