Warner Bros. International Television Production (WBITVP) in the Netherlands has appointed a new leadership team with the promotions of Michiel Van Der Hoeven and Nelsje Musch-Elzinga.

Van Der Hoeven, who has been serving as managing director of non-scripted since 2015, has been tapped to lead all non-scripted activities at WBITVP Netherlands. He is taking over for Sander Emmering, who will leave on September 1. Van Der Hoeven was hired by Eyeworks Netherlands in 2002, eventually becoming creative director.

Musch-Elzinga is expanding her current remit as business director to cover both Blazhoffski Productions and WBITVP Netherlands. Before becoming business director more than four years ago, she was head of productions at Blazhoffski, which she first joined in 2007.

Ronald Goes, the executive VP and head of WBITVP, stated: “Michiel and Nelsje each have excellent track records in the industry at large and for Warner Bros., so we are thrilled that they have taken up these new responsibilities in the Netherlands. It’s always a real plus to be able to grow talent and give greater responsibilities from within the company, and their appointments reflect our ongoing commitment to bringing exciting, innovative television to both local and international audiences.”
