Dori Media Hires Sony Alum, Opens Madrid Office in European Sales Push

Dori Media Group is opening an office in Madrid and restructuring its sales division as part of a strategy to expand its business activities in Europe.

In addition to opening the new office in Madrid, Dori Media Group is bringing in a new VP of sales, Carolina Sabbag. Sabbag will oversee the business development in Europe. She will lead the new office in Madrid and will be in charge of regional distribution strategy across all of the company’s portfolio lines. Sabbag joins Dori Media after nine years as director of sales at Sony Pictures Television.

Additionally, Revital Basel is resigning from the company and will step down from the position as VP of sales after ten years with Dori Media Group, including four years in that role. The sales team restructure will be effective mid-April.

Basel remarked: “I have been privileged to work as part of a strong team with so many outstanding employees, dedicated to transforming the company into a fast-growing media entity. I would like to thank the team for being a true family, allowing me to serve in the capacity of VP of sales and learn from each of the members every day.
