In this role, Clarke will be charged with building the group’s global in-house production capability across all sports properties managed by MP & Silva. He will also be responsible for developing distribution systems for content managed by the company.

Clarke joins MP & Silva from Catalyst Media, where he headed event operations for the International Champions Cup in Singapore. He was previously senior VP at World Sport Group, now part of Lagardére Media, where he was responsible for the group’s broadcast production and distribution.

MP & Silva’s president and group CEO, Seamus O’Brien, said, “I’m delighted that James has agreed to join MP & Silva. Production and distribution will play an important role as we continue developing MP & Silva’s global business in the future. James brings to the company a proven expertise for delivering high-quality content for our clients and a wealth of experience across many markets and sports.”

Clarke commented, “MP & Silva has a strong team already in place and I’m looking forward to helping grow production and distribution as a core part of the business. We will build on the company’s success in using new technology to deliver efficient production and distribution services and support the commercial team in acquiring new business. We will continue to develop ways to deliver sport to the fans, in this rapidly converging media landscape.”
