MTG’s nice entertainment group has set up Nice One Denmark, a brand-new Danish digital studio.

Nice One develops, produces and distributes high-quality content for brands and digital platforms. Nice One is part of nice entertainment group and has already launched in Sweden and Norway.

Nice One Denmark will be led by Klara Sofie Svendsen as chief commercial director and Niels Lindberg as chief creative officer. Both will join nice entertainment group’s Nordic management team. Svendsen comes from Metronome Productions, where she held the position of digital business developer. Lindberg has been working as a development executive producer and has a background at DR1 and DR3 as a project manager.

Nice One Denmark will work closely with Copenhagen-based Strong Productions, which is also part of nice entertainment group.

Svendsen said: “Nice One is an ambitious take on how to develop and produce content in a fast-changing media world. Nice One has already proven in Sweden and Norway that the combination of commercial and digital forces with TV production can create a new discipline at the intersection between storytelling and advertising. Our ambition is to empower brands to offer consumers high-quality content on all relevant platforms.”

Lindberg added: “Many organizations are successfully transforming their marketing departments into small media houses. Consumers are extremely willing to pay for high-quality content, and I think that the next major entertainment formats will be developed, owned and controlled by commercial brands. Nice One and nice entertainment group have high ambitions in relation to form, content and production value, and together with the best content producers from Strong and nice entertainment group, I look forward to launching the company.”

Kristian Farcin-Leth, CEO of Strong Productions, said: “Nice One is a breath of fresh air. They represent the future in many ways, and I hope that the synergies between our two companies in Denmark will benefit both businesses, as well as new and existing customers. I see Niels and Klara Sofie as two of the greatest talents in our industry, and I look forward to helping them with this project, as well as being inspired by their methods in an industry constantly reinventing how we produce and finance high-quality content.”
