AMC Networks International Ups Programming & Partnership Execs

AMC Networks International – UK (AMCNI UK) has named Alina Florea and Sam Rowden to newly created and expanded roles.

Florea has been elevated to the post of director of acquisitions and content partnerships, while Rowden will assume the role of director of programming for CBS Channels. Both will be based in London and continue to report to Kevin Dickie, the senior VP of the channels group for the U.K., MEA and Poland.

In her new and expanded role, Florea will oversee content acquisitions across AMCNI UK’s portfolio of ten brands. She will also manage studio relations and content partnerships, including the CBS UK and EMEA joint ventures co-owned by AMCNI UK and CBS Studios International.

Rowden most recently severed as director of programming for CBS Reality and New Media. She now takes on full responsibility for the programming strategy for the whole CBS channel portfolio across the U.K. and EMEA, including for CBS Action, CBS Drama, CBS Reality, Horror Channel and CBS Europa.
