Shoshana Wilson has been named head of program and scheduling at Fox Networks Group (FNG) UK, while the company has separately announced that Jeff Ford is stepping down to retire from his full-time role at the end of the year.

Currently the director of global acquisitions in the regional European Team, Wilson will now be responsible for all programming and scheduling for the full FNG UK channel brands, including FOX, National Geographic, NatGeo WILD and YourTV.

Ford has made the decision to retire and will be stepping down from his position of FNG UK managing director and senior VP of original content for Europe & Africa at the end of the year. Jeff will continue to work with FNG E&A in a consultancy capacity in the first half of 2018, under his original content remit.

“Shoshana has been an incredibly important part of our European programming team and I’m delighted that she will be stepping up into this new role, to focus solely on our U.K. business, as we create some of our most ambitious schedules for our British viewers,” said Diego Londono, the COO of FNG Europe & Africa. “With a career spanning over 40 years, Jeff Ford is synonymous with the U.K. television industry. Since joining our organization in 2015, Jeff has been instrumental in the success of our U.K. business, alongside creating and launching our original scripted content strategy for the region. Following his decision to retire at the end of the year from his full-time role, we are thrilled that we’ll continue to be working closely with Jeff well into 2018, as we launch our first regional commission Deep State in over 50 markets across the region.”
