Italian broadcaster Rai has picked up three original programs from Stand by Me, including I’ll See You in Court (Ci vediamo in tribunal).

The original scripted reality series I’ll See You in Court (Ci vediamo in tribunal) follows real stories of ordinary people’s disputes. The series is produced in collaboration with Rai Fiction and will premiere on RAI2 in September in a daytime slot.

Rai also commissioned Life is Cool (La Vita è una Figata), which is set to premiere on RAI1 in October. The original six-episode talk show is hosted by Paralympic goal medalist Bebe Vio and focuses on extraordinary stories of young people who have achieved their goals by overcoming difficulties. In addition, the documentary series The Chronicles of a Revolution (Cronache di una rivoluzione) is set for Rai Storia. Hosted by La Repubblica editor Ezio Mauro, the docuseries celebrates the centenary of the Russian Revolution. The project is a collaboration between Rai, the daily newspaper La Repubblica and publisher Feltrinelli.

Simona Ercolani, the founder and CEO of Stand by Me, said, “We are so excited for the commission of the new original formats. This summer Stand by Me will be developing more new original formats commissioned by various networks that will premiere in early 2018. This is the confirmation of the continuing business growth of the company, whose reliability, expertise and knowledge in telling real stories is now recognized in the international market.”
