Polish broadcaster Polsat has licensed the German finished tapes of Armoza Formats’ prime-time reality competition Curvy Supermodel, which will air later this year alongside the recently commissioned local adaptation.

Produced by Tresor TV, Curvy Supermodel seeks to change ideas of conventional beauty. RTL II Germany’s first season of Curvy Supermodel aired at the end of 2016, with a strong performance among young audiences. Season two is set to premiere next month. The format has already been acquired in six territories, including Brazil and Spain.

Avi Armoza, the CEO of Armoza Formats, said, “Polsat has a strong vision for this format and we are thrilled to continue to work with them on the local adaptation as well as with the German finished tapes. The compelling message that Curvy Supermodel conveys about challenging stereotypes is what makes it so relatable and has inspired positive responses from the industry and the viewers.”
