Sky River of the Himalayas is co-produced by CCTV 10 and CITVC, ARTE France, ZDF and commissioned in a prebuy by SVT. The Swedish broadcaster also acquired The Canary Islands. The two-parter was also picked by ARTE G.E.I.E. (Germany and France), SRF (Switzerland), RTL (Netherlands), TV AD (Vietnam) and NHK (Japan), where the program will be aired alongside ORF’s Vanishing Kings—Part I.

Al Jazeera (Qatar) and AB (France) went for Smart Cities and Techno Sapiens from ORF’s science slot Newton. A package of ORF’s weekly series discovering facts about everyday life will air on TV AD Vietnam’s channels soon, together with more than 25 documentaries of ORF Universum’s wildlife titles.

WDR (Germany) licensed the dark comedy Boesterreich and the edgy family saga Old Money. All seven seasons of the comedic crime series Four Women and a Funeral have been picked by Viacom (Italy), while AXN Mystery (Japan) will air the show in a second season.

Netflix (German-speaking Europe, Benelux) now has a wealth of ORF’s fiction programs, including the second season of Suburbia—Women on the Edge, as well as all five seasons of the crime series Fast Forward.

Kabel Deutschland (Germany) picked up a documentary and fiction package that includes Fast Forward for its VOD service. Meanwhile, iflix (Southeast Asia, Africa, MENA, CIS, Caribbean, Pacific) and CuriosityStream secured further titles from ORF-Enterprise’s factual lineup, including a selection of ORF Universum highlights.
