FremantleMedia Norway Taps New Head of Development

OSLO: FremantleMedia Norway has named Hege Skjerven Johansen as its new head of development.

Skjerven Johansen will be responsible for further developing the existing on-air projects, exploring local development projects and seeking out titles from FremantleMedia’s existing catalogue for local adaptation. She will report to Petter Testmann-Koch, the managing director of FremantleMedia Norway. Prior to the role at FremantleMedia Norway, Skjerven Johansen was part of Rubicon (Shine Group) for 15 years.

Testmann-Koch said, “Hege is a creative force and with her wealth of experience in content development and production, we’re delighted to have her join our team. With Hege on board, we’re even more excited about further establishing FremantleMedia’s presence in Norway and developing more local content.”

Skjerven Johansen said, “After spending several years as a producer, I’m excited to now be in a position to focus on the development of new ideas and titles from FremantleMedia’s impressive catalogue of formats. Together with Petter and the team, I’m looking forward to developing more hit shows to add to FremantleMedia’s impressive slate of success.”
