BBC Two & Hat Trick Productions Re-Commission Episodes

LONDON: A third season of Episodes, a comedy starring Matt LeBlanc, Tamsin Greig and Stephen Mangan, has been ordered by BBC Two and Hat Trick Productions.

Episodes is a comedy about a British sitcom that is being remade in the U.S. The third season will be written by David Crane and Jeffery Klarik, known for their contributions to hit shows such as Friends and Mad About You, respectively.

The series is produced by Hat Trick/Crane Klarik for the BBC and Showtime Networks. Production for season three will commence in London and Los Angeles in 2013.

BBC Two controller Janice Hadlow commented: "I’m delighted that the critically acclaimed Episodes is returning for a third series to BBC Two. The last season ended with a thrilling finale and like the rest of the audience I can’t wait to find out what happens next."

Comedy executive editor Gregor Sharp added: "David Crane and Jeffrey Klarik are supremely talented comedy writers and we’re thrilled they’ll be bringing their amazing cast back to the BBC for another series of Episodes."
