OSLO: The legal drama Aber Bergen, which marked ITV Studios Norway’s first-ever scripted series, has been recommissioned by TV3.

Season two will have ten hour-long episodes. The show follows Erik and Elea, two of Norway’s shrewdest and most persistent lawyers, who can’t appear to live with or without each other. With an unorthodox team of lawyers caught between their warfare, they juggle the morals and ethics of politics and law.

Eldar Nakken, the CEO of ITV Studios Norway, said: “Aber Bergen is the first drama from ITVS Norway and we are delighted with the reception it’s received, as well as the continued support from TV3 following this recommission.”

Andreas Knut Bakka Hjertø, the program director at MTG TV Norway, added: “ITV did a fantastic job with Aber Bergen, and we are thrilled to announce season two of this popular drama series. Aber Bergen did well both on linear TV and as a streamed format on our free streaming platform Viafree. The show is produced in Bergen and we love the way the show has been embraced by the local production industry, viewers and others.”
