TV Azteca Series Iron Lady Sold into Ethiopia

TV Azteca International has secured a deal with Kana TV in Ethiopia for the 80×1-hour series Iron Lady (La Fiscal de Hierro).

Iron Lady tells the story of Silvana Durán (Iliana Fox), a lawyer who climbs to the highest ranks of the General Secretariat of Justice with the intention of capturing her father’s murderer, Diego Trujillo (Alejandro Camacho), one of the most dangerous men in the country. The series has launched in a prime-time slot in Ethiopia.

“Kana TV is one of the most important broadcasters in Africa, and we are very happy to have closed this first agreement with three of our new super series, “said Berta Orozco, sales representative for Spain, Africa, MENA and Franco-speaking territories at TV Azteca International. “We are confident that La Fiscal de Hierro will be an audience success for Kana TV.”

“For TV Azteca International it is very important that the different markets find the great value of our large catalog and the content we offer,” said Ramón Salomón, director of content operations at TV Azteca International.
