Turkish Drama Leaf Cast Heads to Chile

Kanal D International has licensed the drama series Leaf Cast, based on the classic novel of the same name, to Mega in Chile.

The drama is set in Istanbul and centers on the Tekin family, led by patriarch Ali Riza. Ali believes that his children share the same idealistic lifestyle he taught them—he could never have imaged that his daughters Leyla and Necla will fall in love with the same man, his only son will rob the bank he is working for, and his elder daughter suddenly will leave the family for a man she barely knows.

Based on the classic novel of the same name by Reşat Nuri Güntekin, Leaf Cast has aired in Turkey and CEE countries. Now it is headed to Chile’s Mega, where it will premiere later this month.
