Turkish Drama Elif Heads to TVN in Chile

STOCKHOLM: Eccho Rights has signed up a new LatAm broadcaster for the hit Turkish drama Elif, which is now set to air on TVN in Chile.

The Green Yapim-produced daily will become the first Turkish drama to air on the state-run broadcaster. Earlier this fall, Colombia’s Caracol became the first channel to broadcast a Spanish-dubbed version of the show. Elif was also licensed by Latina in Peru, which picked up the drama’s first three seasons after a strong launch, and last week the series debuted on Teletica in Costa Rica.

The daily prime-time drama has been airing on Kanal 7 in Turkey. Season three debuted this fall.
