Super Channel has slated the Canadian debut of the spy drama Deep State from Fox Networks Group Content Distribution.

Starring Mark Strong (Zero Dark Thirty, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) and Joe Dempsie (Game of Thrones), Deep State will premiere on Sunday, May 20, at 9 p.m. The eight episodes of the series will also be available on Super Channel On Demand the day following their linear broadcast.

Deep State is an intriguing espionage thriller that is an ideal complement to our growing slate of premium series in this genre,” said Melissa Kajpust, the VP of programming at Super Channel. “With its timely, multi-layered plot and excellent cast, fans of Homeland and Berlin Station are going to want to add this to their must-see list.”
