LOS ANGELES: Esquire Network has given a season-two pickup to Spotless, which was the channel’s first original scripted series.

From TANDEM Productions, the series is executive produced by Rola Bauer (The Pillars of the Earth, Crossing Lines) and is co-created by Ed McCardie (Shameless) and Corinne Marrinan (CSI). Spotless stars Marc-André Grondin (C.R.A.Z.Y.), Denis Ménochet (Inglourious Basterds), Miranda Raison (24: Live Another Day) and Brendan Coyle (Downton Abbey). The renewal follows Esquire delivering significant growth in Q1 2016, which was the network’s most-watched quarter in its history among adults 25 to 54 and total viewers.

“Esquire Network proudly broke the genre barriers offering a series that combined elements of danger and drama with a sharp satirical edge,” said Matt Hanna, the executive VP of original programming at Esquire Network. “We are thrilled to once again partner with TANDEM Productions and look forward to the wild ride of season two as we continue to gain momentum as a network and reach new heights.”
