Sky Vision has secured a number of deals for Britannia, which has already been picked up in 124 territories.

The Sky original production, co-produced with Amazon Prime in the U.S., made its international debut on Sky Atlantic in the U.K. on January 18 and will air on Amazon Prime from January 26. Pickups include HBO Nordic for multiple territories, Starz for its pan-Middle East network, iflix for pan-Africa, Foxtel for Australia and Hellenic Telecommunication Organisation for Greece, Cyprus and Malta. Home entertainment rights were licensed for multiple territories by Sony Home Pictures Entertainment.

Jane Millichip, the managing director of Sky Vision, said: “We’re really proud of Britannia. We secured sales to more than 120 territories even before the series premiered on Sky Atlantic. From Jez and Tom Butterworth’s brilliant scripts through to the gripping performances, Britannia delivers fantastic scale and entertainment. It is also fantastic to represent a series of scale in which strong female characters are woven into the fabric of the story and are at the heart of the action.”
