Globo has licensed Under Pressure and Jailers to Sky Italia, while Above Justice was sold to Colombia’s RCN network.

Co-produced by Globo and Conspiração Filmes, Under Pressure features the fast-paced daily routine of a group of doctors at an under-resourced hospital on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro. It reached an average daily audience of 40 million viewers per episode while airing in Brazil.

Jailers was co-produced by Globo, Gullane Filmes and Spray Filmes. The series is currently airing in Brazil and its first seven episodes reached more than 93 million viewers, with an average of approximately 35 million per day.

Raphael Corrêa Netto, executive director of international business at Globo, said: “We know the huge potential of our series and this new licensing marks another step in the expansion of our global strategic action as multiplatform content creators, producers and distributors. Jailers and Under Pressure have already been featured in renowned European festivals, and we are happy to know that they will now reach the Italian audience through one of the main players in the country’s pay-TV market.”
