LONDON: Sky Living has bolstered its slate of U.S. dramas with the acquisitions of Shades of Blue, starring Jennifer Lopez, and the fourth season of Nashville.

The crime drama Shades of Blue was licensed from NBCUniversal International Distribution. It sees Lopez starring opposite Ray Liotta as a pair of Brooklyn detectives. Nashville, acquired from Lionsgate, heads to Sky Living for the first time. The show stars Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere.

Adam MacDonald, the director of Sky 1 and Sky Living, said: “These two brilliant shows coming to Sky Living just strengthens our reputation for fantastic U.S. drama, so I couldn’t be happier to have Shades of Blue and Nashville coming to the channel. They have everything that a Sky Living drama should have and more: strong characters, engrossing story lines and the talk-ability our customers love.”
