Liar, Two Brothers Pictures’ upcoming drama for ITV and SundanceTV, has been licensed to Australia’s Seven Network by all3media International.

The six-part thriller, premiering in the U.K. this fall, comes from The Missing‘s Harry and Jack Williams and stars Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey) and Ioan Gruffudd (Forever). “Australian audiences are demanding dramas that stand out from the crowd—and that’s exactly what Liar delivers,” said Angus Ross, the director of programming at Seven. “Terrific storytelling and powerful subject matter will have viewers hooked until the very end. We are thrilled Liar has found a home on Australia’s number one network, Seven.”

In addition to the Australian slot, the drama has been pre-sold to TVNZ in New Zealand and secured a U.K. DVD deal with Dazzler. This latest round of agreements follows pacts with HBO Nordic (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Spain) and TF1 in France.

“With its impeccable credentials, both on- and off-screen, and truly immersive storyline, we’re seeing huge interest from our international clients in this brand-new drama,” commented Louise Pedersen, the CEO at all3media International. “Both series of The Missing have already proved a great success, achieving high ratings and critical acclaim around the world, and I’m delighted to see Liar securing another new deal with a major network renowned for bringing the best in international drama to its viewers.”
