New Pan-Arab Drama from twofour54 & Hijjawi

A new pan-Arab drama series, Something from the Past, is being shot in Abu Dhabi with assistance from twofour54.

Produced by Essam Hijjawi and directed by Hussam Hijjawi, the series is set in Abu Dhabi, Jordan and the Gulf, where a group of people experiences a life-changing moment that pushes them to follow their dreams and fortunes. The first episode is planned to hit TV screens during Ramadan and is expected to be broadcast on a main UAE TV channel and Jordan TV.

The production will be the latest to benefit from the Abu Dhabi Film Commission’s 30-percent cashback rebate on production spend while taking advantage of the range of locations in Abu Dhabi during the 25-day shoot. Over the course of the filming process, twofour54 is providing Hijjawi Production with production equipment and crew, including location manager, assistant production, casting manager and key grip. twofour54 partner companies Your Way and Light N Light are also involved in the production.
