New Head of Drama at WBITVP Sweden

Warner Bros. International Television Production Sweden (WBITVP Sweden) has appointed Johan Hedman to lead its drama unit.

Hedman will look after the development and production of all scripted TV content for the company. Recent scripted productions in Sweden have included Farang for TV4 and the crime show Maria Wern, based on a series of novels by author Anna Jansson. Hedman joins Warner Bros. from SF Studios, where he has been serving as head of TV.

Ronald Goes, the executive VP and head of Warner Bros. International TV Production, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Johan to the team in Sweden, where we have a strong track record of bringing exciting, original stories to both local and international audiences. His appointment reflects our ongoing commitment to local scripted TV content and I look forward to the ideas and energy he will bring to this part of our Swedish operation.”
